Online Meeting on Sensor Solutions within HEIstorical Project

An online meeting dedicated to sensor solutions within the HEIstorical project was held on December 9, 2025. The session was organized with the support of the partner from Serbia, who invited an external collaborator to present the proposed sensor technologies.
During the meeting, participants were introduced to the sensor systems planned for installation in historic buildings. The presentation covered:
- The functionality and operation of the sensors
- The technical requirements for installation
- Key considerations for integration in heritage environments
The session provided an interactive platform where participants had the opportunity to ask questions, clarify technical aspects, and gain a deeper understanding of the proposed solution.
Alignment with Project Activities
This meeting represents an important step following the activity related to the definition of the sensor solution. Based on the specification and selection process, the project is moving forward with:
- Clear recommendations on hardware and software systems
- Preparation for the acquisition of 40 customized sensor enclosures
- Delivery of tailored software for operating sensor systems in historic buildings
These efforts ensure that the selected solutions are fit for purpose, supporting accurate monitoring while respecting the specific constraints of historical structures.
