HEIstorical Project Promoted at Open Day of the Technical Faculty in Zrenjanin

Zrenjanin, Serbia – March 25, 2026

The HEIstorical project was actively promoted during the Open Day event organized by the Technical Faculty “Mihajlo Pupin” in Zrenjanin on March 25, 2026, starting at 10:00 a.m.

The event targeted high school graduates and third-year students, offering them the opportunity to explore academic programs and gain insights into future study and career paths.

Engaging Future Students

Participants had the chance to:

  • Visit the faculty building, classrooms, and laboratories
  • Attend presentations delivered by the Dean and Vice-Dean for Teaching
  • Take part in interactive presentations and workshops related to different study programs

Within this dynamic environment, the HEIstorical project was introduced as an example of modern, interdisciplinary education, combining sustainability, digitalization, and cultural heritage.

During the event, the project was presented with the aim of familiarizing students with:

  • Current trends in higher education, especially in green and digital skills
  • The main objectives and activities of the HEIstorical project
  • The international partnership and collaborative dimension of the project

Special emphasis was placed on the role of digital tools and engineering approaches in the preservation and management of historical buildings. This helped students better understand how innovation and sustainability intersect in real-world applications.

Connecting Education and Industry

Alongside the Open Day activities, the faculty hosted a Practice and Career Fair, designed to connect students with companies and potential employers.

This component of the event further supported the promotion of HEIstorical by:
