  • The project’s general objectives: a transnational, open knowledge base, modern digital tools in education, collaborative research and interdisciplinary learning
  • How machine learning and digital tools are used to assess damage to historic buildings and to plan their strengthening
  • Open access to all data collected in the project, for future research and applications

Inspiring Future Engineers

The session showed the students how computer science, artificial intelligence and engineering come together in the protection of built heritage, and encouraged them to consider future studies in civil engineering and related fields.
